Great work, in regards to the heater how did you go about re-doing the white letters?
Reason I ask is I have this job to do myself at some point?

Hi...
The paint is VHT wrinkle plus... quite great to work with..

. Just need to practice a few times to do it right, and get the correct crackle.. more paint = more crackles....
The letters is screen printed on by a company here in Denmark.. you can´t do that by your self good enought I belive. But I´ve been in contact with a man i Uk too. He´s name is David.. You can try to contact him on:
http://www.adgscreenprinters.co.uk/ He might be able to help you with the letters.
Regards René

Sorry to interrupt, but regarding the heater lettering - I used letraset rub down transfers. These are easily available and cheap.

Thats a great restoration, the detail shows the passion you all seem to have for getting things right, first class.
sclemow, do you have a size and script type that you have used for your heater, that would be good information.

Hi 36inter..
Thanks for your kind words. Always nice that someone like what they see, after many hours of work...
The correct script type is HELVETICA. I can´t remember the size, but will find it for you.

Heater front plate lettering is Letraset Helvetica Medium Condensed 3mm, RDC0130.
I used the VHT crackle paint from Frost and then rubbed the letters on using the tool provided with the Letraset.
Cheers

The 1071 is now in the subframe. The brakes, pipes, drive shafts and so is done, so ready to go in the car when it´s ready. ( or putting the body shell on more correctly )
