Here's a pic of my old 1275gt I had in the late 90's. Black tulip, geranium interior.
I changed many of the original parts at the time like rostyles for 6x10 GB's and I swapped the orange-red plastic/vinyl GT interior for a red leather elf/hornet. It seemed like a good idea at the time, I remember cutting out the boot board brackets as they were a little rusty and got in the way when slinging stuff into the boot. The cars had very little value then.
The car went to Florida more than 20 years ago.

I’m on the hunt for one of these front spoilers. I know you can buy a copy, but I’d love a proper one... does anyone know of one for sale?

Unfortunately this is the only other photo I have. I don't have any more details on the car, I think I saved the photos because I like that colour 1275GT and I thought for 'reference purposes' the wheel arch extensions had been fitted very neatly.

Nice looking car.
I see it's one of those early cars with a t-handle boot lid that we were discussing on the old adverts thread the other day.

The Mk1 /Mk2 boot lid handle is a feature of 1970 built 1275GTs.

Interestingly I once owned a 1974 pre export Innocenti 1300 Cooper which also had that feature.

Hi, I've been a GT owner for over 30 years, thought I would drop in and say hello. My current work in progress is a new build using a heritage shell. The donor car was completely rotten:

Welcome aboard. The little GT seems to be a firm favourite on this forum where a couple are being restored/rebuilt.

Remember a lot of interest in that at the time and discussed extensively. Who owns it now?

I think the person who bought it at auction for £1400 decided it was better left as it was found (with some panel/roof straightening carried out!) rather than fully restored and is now on loan to the Gaydon museum for as long as they want, not sure if it is currently on display or in the storeroom...but a recent visitor to the museum on here may know?

In October of this year it was upstairs with all the weird and wonderful prototype vehicles above the Jaguar heritage collection.

I didn’t get a shot of it but the MGF test mule Metro was interesting.
