It is isn't it. Most of them had more rust than that by their 5th birthdays! It would be a shame to restore it in some ways. Hard to find one more authentic I think.

£39K for a project, WOW!! We were speculating on here whether it'd fetch more than the last "barn find" mega original S which made just over £30K as I remember about 12mths ago or so. It did by some margin!
Just shows you, originality is king with stuff like this and buyers/investors are prepared to pay a premium for it.

Agree - it was the same with the Baillon collection, these also sold for premium price, despite their "rough" appearence.
They were also carefully removed from the estate, in closed trailers, to preserve the barnfind look.
