And with the evaporator being bigger than a radiator I bet that doesn't (didn't) help the engine during hot weather!

This one seams to have finally found a new home, after initially being offered for a 5 figure sum.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1972-1275-GT- ... 7675.l2557
It did sell in an agricultural auction for around £5500 to £6000 early in the summer.
PS That metallic blue Mk3 does look nice, I especially like the Wolfrace slot mags.

Lot 107 - 1989 Mini ‘30’ By Wood & Pickett........
"Not only is this Mini ‘30’ finished in the rarer black livery with matching red-piped leather interior, however it, just like Jaggers Cooper, has ‘Wood & Pickett’ coachwork, rare for any Mini, let alone for one of the Anniversary Mini ‘30’s.
Other noteworthy mentions for this wonderful three owner car from new include, a wood-trimmed dashboard, a sunroof and luxurious leather trimming."

Looks like a standard Mini 30 with a Rookee dash and some Britax nudge bars. I guess they have a receipt from W&P for these bits so it must be a rare W&P conversion. Looks like Coys are still employing the script writers from East Enders to do their descriptions. By the way JMO 969D is putting in another appearance in the same auction.

Plus a Deep Sanderson and various other tempting cars (all non Mini) I do love the shot of the chassis plate on 969.......... with all it's British Leyland script

Look like Wood & Pickett parts to me, especially the typical W&P rear quarter card.

That use to belong to Gerald Ronson.
The car is now stripped of its Margrave dash which is going to be used to rescue another WP.
