The little girl...Claire is now 45 ! I'll try to recreate the pic sometime with Claire and her Mum, Cath who is in the drivers seat.

Thanks for finding and posting that great pic Pete. It was late 60's in Alfreton, Derbyshire. JWA was promoting the Mid Derbyshire Motor Club, which is still going.

Yes it was wet that day. I took my '63 down the day before in bright sunshine. When going to start the car on the Monday morning to travel home, I had to dry out a very wet distributor cap.

I remember dashing back to my car to dry off several times that day, can't believe it was seven years ago.

Another splash of colour...

Nice pics Tim... as a train driver I have a nervous affliction for level crossings, had several near misses with pedestrians, cyclists and transit van drivers over the years!

WMU pretty much as bought seven years ago...

Cheers Nidge, I know what you mean! My Fire Service career saw a few results of train vs vehicle encounters! Makes you very aware! Love your car!

Here’s a nice one of DPU back in period in Dukinfield - complete with leopard skin steering wheel cover and white walls! Very flash!
