Thanks for finding and posting that great pic Pete. It was late 60's in Alfreton, Derbyshire. JWA was promoting the Mid Derbyshire Motor Club, which is still going.Pete wrote:Dave's car on display!

Yes it was wet that day. I took my '63 down the day before in bright sunshine. When going to start the car on the Monday morning to travel home, I had to dry out a very wet distributor cap.

Nice pics Tim... as a train driver I have a nervous affliction for level crossings, had several near misses with pedestrians, cyclists and transit van drivers over the years!

Cheers Nidge, I know what you mean! My Fire Service career saw a few results of train vs vehicle encounters! Makes you very aware! Love your car!
