I've got caps and the connectors but I haven't been able to find the tool for the job. Be interested to know what you did.

How did the 1071 drive on the Kent 276 cam?skorstensfejeren wrote:Hi Scott...
Sorry for my delayed answer.... been bussy for a while...
Anyway... I do have a NOS AEG 148 cam for the 1071( Pin drive ), as I want it to be as original as possible. but used a 276 degree cam on is for now( Kent cams) ... Know theese cams for many years with good experience
The final drive is the original 3.76 on my geabox....................
How is your project Scott????

Re: 64 Austin Cooper S 1071.
A litte update on my restoration....
Have cleaned all polished all the original parts for the doors, so they will be fitted this weekend..
Also fitted a Stadium overtaker mirror to it today.... that type just looks great on the mini, and with no drilling.. I like it...

The original mounted seatbelts had a overhauling with new chrome and galvanized on the differents parts. Now monunted into the car again.
Also had the last few original trims done, and fitted, with a NOS pair of door kick plates...
