My mouse hovered over the buy it now too.
Good to see it's gone to a good home, or should I say 'estate'!

the new ones are correct for transverse application
they are not modified sprite ones (or sprite ones that need modifying)

That looks like the same model of van that appeared at Tatton Park a couple of years ago, except someone has raised the roof to make more comfortable when standing up.

Stu that ice cream van used to do my local round! The lady that ran it used to sit down on a stool in the back, you can't stand up in it and I've never seen another like it with such a short body.

very nice....not sure that 42K is though.
The add does suggest non-standard parts fitted and extras supplied but if I were parting with 42K I would prefer the car to be 'factory'.

I used to own that car. Keith Bird did a great job on the body, absolutely mint and it's got a very expensive tastefully tuned Sims engine it it as I remember that John Casey had done when he had it . Fantastic car.

For some perspective, I paid £15 for a pair about 9 months ago…

Belongs to a chap fairly near me, has Hill-climbed several really nice Blue Oval products over the years, his portfolio of old cars is pretty fine, always beautifully turned out cars
