Great repair job on the seats. Top mk's to Andy's Dad!
The car looks Ace Andy!
Personally, I'd draw the line at door circles, but as they say, the choice is yours.
I look forward to hearing all about the screen. Sounds like a good pub story.

Very nice. Yet again another great car comes out of your garage Andy.
I've had a fiddle with photoshop with a couple of ideas.
Rear panel in stripe colour and black sills to give the car a bit of length. Try with a bit of vinyl first to see if you can live with it.

What an amazing result, and transformation. As far from anyone's lazy idea of a 'kitcar' build quality as you can get.
And as I just posted on Faceache, go large on the doorcircles. Massive. Big as you can.

PLEASE no circles on the side, the stripes are good enough, and PLEASE colour the sils the same as the rest of the body.

For myself: I think it looks perfect as it is
A great result! The colour suits it so well and less is more in my book.

Well I posted on the other forum about what a great job you two have done….
But… let’s talk about the stripe debate again…
The stripes need to be one wide solid stripe down the centre of the car. In Matt black, with two more pinstripes down either side of it making it wider than it’s currently showing.
The sills, need a 2” Matt black stripe with a rectangle section cut out letting the blue show through with Cox cut in (in Matt black) like the gt40 has. If you use a solid black sill yes ir does lengthen the look but it also raises the look. If you use a 2” stripe you’ll see blue black blue lengthening the look without it looking higher, if you know what I mean.
Just my option, but please mock it up and have a look see.

I feel it would be a shame to make it look like something that it isn't, as it looks pretty amazing as it is, to me

I wasn’t suggesting to make it look like something it isn’t, just giving a reference to what I was try to explain..
I think it looks cool without the white roundel.

I tried one of those Jubilee style exhaust clamps but it wasn’t up to the job. The plan is to just weld it up instead.

Brilliant Goff,
something every 'plastic pig' should have.
Will need to get one for mine.
