I have had that nonsense for years. At a Mini show in 2012 I was told that my Mk3 Cooper S should not have an alternator and at another Mini show I was told that my Mk2 Cooper S was actually Mk1 with Mk2 grill and bigger tail lights. I tend to visit classic car shows that have all types of vehicles on display. :D :)

are the new first gears different to the ones sold in the past ,or were they not quite correct ,and are they the same as fitted to the sprite :?:

I have a metal one on my car that some guy in America hand made back in the 70's
My friend over there got it for me.
His plan was to reproduce them but it was too costly and time consuming.
Not sure how many he made, but it is nothing like the one the bay.
