We have some speedwell blue! Very please with the result, should look even better with black wheels and black number plates. The plan is to fit a big fat stripe or two in either OEW or black, might even fit some door circles and some Castrol etc. stickers...

It looks really hood Andy 8-) yourself, dad and the Wrights boys have done the car proud 8-)

Why not ask here what others think about what colour the stripe should be.. :?:

My vote is for black, off set on the passenger side to contrast with the blue and some Block roundel’s

If you go for stripes on the center line, make them WIDE. ;)

Either way whatever you decide, I can’t wait to see it finished in the new year

 please no orange on it, white will do the job perfectly if you choose for stripes.

Kees.

Oh, and if you go for meatballs, make 'em big. The rule for them as I see it, is they must be at least as big as the door panel (i.e.touching top and bottom edge) or better still, eat into the adjacent panel like the sill.

I don't like the wee ones that look like they are bobbing around looking for a home

God, I used to spend ages laying out decals on prototypes......

Collected the GTM from Tim and Chris at Whights last week and couldn't wait to get the eyes in and wheels on, will have to sit in the garage now while I finish off more than a few job in the house for Mrs B...

Looks lovely Andy! Shouldn't take to long to finish now, will be great to see it out. Not many unmolested Cox's out there.
Need to get the builders in to do my Garage extension and I can get on with mine...

Looks fantastic! OEW stripes and stick on number plates with silver digits on a black background will suit it nicely.... ;)

The Surf Blue Mk1 is also rather nice!

210 mm is a good width for a stripe, it also makes it easy to mock up on the car
