Rich,
I had a yellow one once. I bought it as a "luxury" type kit (the one that needed least work) in 1988.
I have often wanted to find it but cannot. Emailing the GTM owners club and asking them if they know where "my old yellow one" is now, doesn't yield much.
Can't remember the reg number except that it was a "Q" and I gave all the paperwork away with the car!

As you may have read on Rich’s For Sale thread, the little red GTM has a new home and it’s now sharing garage space with my rally car. He was kind enough to hang onto it for a few weeks whilst I sorted a few things out, but I finally got it home this weekend after a nice sunny run over the tops in the trusty Transporter.
I was about to start a new thread on my purchase, but thought it would be a shame to lose the story so far. No pics yet, although it looks the same to be fair! I’ll add to this as and when there are any developments, although to be honest it doesn’t need much so I’m planning on just using it and enjoying it.

Are you going to own up about nearly losing it off the back of your transporter when the ramps were 1/8" off being spat out?
Always listen to your father
It was good to meet you on Saturday & I'm glad that Rich's GTM has found a news home.

Technically
I didn’t nearly lose it
Just said to Rich that it was a lesson learnt the easy way, thank God. And yes, it seems Dad’s do know best!
Thanks for letting me have a nosey round your place - just a little jealous. Good job I’m 2 hours away or you’d never get rid of me!
I’m looking forward to having a toy I can just use. Bit of tidying up to keep me busy but no major work.

What you mean is, Rich goes well up Harewood in this
But you never know Murph, you never know.
Depends if I can justify getting all the gear for an odd run up a hill
.

No real updates as the GTm has been pretty faultless over the last couple of years.
Its had the rad re-cored, a few bits tidied up and otherwise just used and enjoyed. Passed its MoT on Friday with no real issue.
However, after enjoying this fun little thing, it may soon need to find a new home.
A 'too good to miss' Mini opportunity may have dropped in my lap, but I'll need to find both funds and space!

If you do sell it Graeme, someone will be getting a first class GTM.

Indeed - and I will be vetting potential new custodians to ensure they have the right intentions!
