Having used Gliptone for the first time I thought it was pretty good. It does depend on how bad or good the original trim is though.
Don't do what I did which was to try to dye a powder blue side panel Tartan red. It took an absolute age to do and with so many coats / applications the grain in the vinyl was not as sharp.
I do like the fact that you can send a swatch of material which Gliptone colour match and the kit you purchase has everything needed, except elbow grease.
I think my efforts are okay although in my eye, I think the shade is slightly darker.
One word of caution. When you apply the sealer don't go to "glossy".
