Come on then Pete, to us not in the know, whats the story ?
There's an article on it in Nov 2014's MCR magazine with photos. That's the car that was registered EBL 56C and rallied in the early 1980's. It was then "reshelled" it into a (66?) Mk1 shell, used on the Pirelli Marathon etc and was sold recently for about £150,000?

Great to finally get a look "in the shed" , have been waiting a long time!!!!!! & can't say I'm very impressed!!!!!!
It's always the blokes with the fat birds that think they've get the best looking girlfriends.
in the shed quote " I have a scrapyard by me with all sorts of exotica (rusty & ruined) in it "
You've been a bit quite recently but we now know exactly where you've been hiding..........down the scrapyard

I'd like to think this forum's a cut above school boy type spats . I think it's such a shame Chris Wooden that you can't use your time on this forum contributing something positive.
Why bother coming on?
If this interest ever becomes a pissing competition about who's got the best parts in their garage, that'll be the day I give up.

Don't normally like this type of Modified Mini, but this one looks well put together, and looks right

Peter Flanagan, I like your analogy about the school boy spats but other than that couldn't disagree with you more.
In the shed is like the school playground bully that goes around saying nasty, pointless & untrue things. Someone fed up with this comes along &
gives the bully a dig, the teacher wastes no time in wading into the bully's victim. The crime it would seem is standing up for yourself.
All I have done is make some humorous remarks about in the shed's ebay listing as he takes great delight in dishing out complete & utter unjustified rubbish about other people's listings. As one of in the shed's victims I took great delight myself to see that he has nothing to complain about regarding other people's "rubbish". I note that you yourself Peter Flanagan had nothing to say when he was coming out with utter rubbish about one of my listings in the first place.
" nothing that anyone honest would attempt to sell on ebay"
"fished out of a scrapyard"
"total POS"
The item in question ,a 48IDA Weber , sold for £300 which is about £150 below what I expected. The new owner not only very happy with his purchase commented that he had "got a bargain" . With other items I had for sale at the time achieving high prices I can only conclude that these unnecessary caustic words have cost me money!!!
Peter Flanagan, regarding your comment " a pissing competition about who's got the best parts" , I have to say I can't see where you got that from. Anyone that knows me could tell you that it would take many pages if I was to start boasting about what's in my shed, on that count I have nothing to prove.
Peter Flanagan, as for your comment about how I should "use my time" I would suggest you contact me direct rather than using the forum for this.

Forgive me for asking this question but who exactly is hiding "In the shed" on this forum and not disclosing their identity? Just a thought.

Beautiful car. I would take it he means 600kg with oil, fuel and water, ready to go.

Chris if you get that upset about someone talking bollox about something you've sold on Ebay ( weeks ago?) (and corrected by you at the time) I suggest you consider what a piffling irrelevance in life that actually is and how 'schoolboy' spats like that come across.
As for me contacting you direct , maybe you could do that with Mr Shed to discuss your grievances..

It was red/black originally,998 Cooper, all original trim and was for sale at Bulee and Goodwood in 2009 (I remember looking at it in Goodwood's classic car park with Mark!). It was/is a trackday car and very nicely painted by Altered Images Coachworks originally.

Pete Flanagan, you totally miss the point, I'm not "upset" (no panic attacks) & yes he was "talking bollox" this is however a matter of professional pride.
How many people would like an idiot to talk rubbish about their work after 30 years in their trade?
As for you contacting me direct I just thought this would be better kept off the forum!!!!
As for contacting "Mr Shed" I have & just receive unintelligent personal abuse.

"Chris if you get that upset about someone talking bollox about something you've sold on Ebay ( weeks ago, and you're still not over it?) I suggest you consider what a piffling irrelevance that actually is as opposed to an actual real problem in your life that many on here actually have. Are you seriously suggesting Shed's comment (which was challenged by you at the time quite rightly) (why should I also be required to chip in?) on a bloody car forum reduced your final value by such an amount ? That's one hell of a conspiracy theory that I doubt would hold water."
"My comment about how you use the forum is based on how little you've ever actually contributed considering you read it regularly , and that's your prerogative of course. as for me contacting you direct , maybe you could do that with Mr Shed."

Pete Flanagan, why do you & in the shed keep editing your posts?
I could give an answer to your comments at some length but am getting a little bored of your games.

I edited that on reflection, to simplify it and did so well before you replied as you well know. Perfectly above board, that's why we have an edit button, no games involved and you are not the only one bored to tears by this discussion.
