Re the Cooper Car Co delivery lorry photo above. Why would the CCCo have their own delivery lorry? Where were they collecting and delivering to? Did they, for some reason have their own collection service from ther factory? I can't recall any other distributor having their own delivery service and can't imaging CCCo having more new cars delivered that Stewart and Arden. A new mini Cooper owner would simply go and collect surely? Or if he couldn't, then the delivery drivers would deliver it to the local BMC garage. I remember seeing these delivery drivers, clutching their trade plates, hitch-hiking all over the South of England........

Just puzzles me

It's their race transporter, I guess these are new cars about to be turned into racers.

Nice to see these Sprites on the transporter here Stu. I spent a day with Roger Enever in the pre-Corona times, who was a works driver on one of these Sprites at Le Mans. We were hoping to reunite with his car at the Healey Museum here, but sadly the Le Mans Sprite they had on loan had gone back home already. He showed us some great pictures from the Healey works showing these cars being built, and pictures from testing and some things on SR37. Good memories.

Interesting to see the ground/wheelarch clearance on these - obviously when fairly new. Quite a lot more than I remember. We had new Minivans at work but it was a long time ago now and most of their life they carried a bit of weight around with them of course.

I couldn't possibly comment, but at least it sounds more exotic than 'up the workers'
