Such a large number of cars on the open market are bought by dealers nowadays that it creates a self perpetuating hype and a percieved hike in prices. Well they wouldn't have sold it cheap that's for sure. JD also had a lovely Janspeed tuned Mk3 aswell that was for sale by it's original owner only about a year ago, I bet that's on it's third owner since then!bmcman.ie wrote:yes pete, it did.

and boy is it bad ! It's done at leased 100,000 miles if not more the floors have sheet steel riveted over them it's bad! feel so bad for the person going down to pay 6000 odd for there 12000 mile pickup I wouldn't give £1000 for itIt is an odd colour, looks like Pageant Blue! There's a body number on the slam panel though where a later car wouldn't have one?. It's a 70's colour wrong rear lights wrong speedo, but still had to go look at it

Looking on my lap top I think you're right with the Smoke Grey, with plain grey interior.
