Batchelors Snackpot Minis...apparently there were around 60 of them in the late 1970's, back in the day privately owned Minis were sometimes paid to carry advertising like Levis jeans, KP Nuts, etc, which is why there is a mix of different marks & models.

Was that all the same accident or were John Whitley's drivers particularly accident prone :o

Same accident. The other Mini Countryman is sporting a Super grille.

The date is around 1971.

No, not original. That is "stage 2 tuning". Stage 1 being the removal of the wheel trims :lol:
I wonder how many years after that the Bedford Dormobile lasted :?
Note that there is just one rare foreign car in that picture: A Renault 4 I think, coming the other way in patriotic Britain.

I wonder how long the dog would have stayed put if a rabbit or cat had run across that road behind the car :o

Perhaps the "GB" Badge of that Bedford survived & is the one now selling on ebay .. just now that ebay GB Badge started out at 99p and has reached £91 Bid & it aint finished yet. :roll:
