I have just been informed by the paint shop at Old Skool Mini's,they are going to paint the car again as they are not happy with the quality.I must be going blind,i thought it looked quite good.

Collected the exhaust pipe from Maniflow today. I spoke to David Dorrington last week and he advised me on the type of exhaust that would be best suited to the Cooper and because i had stainless steel and given the nature of the car he said he would give it a good polish for me,so at that point i ordered another exhaust for my Pick up.I was chuffed to bits with the result.Big thumbs up for Maniflow. And i love the display of Minis in is shop.

Very Nice!
As I am sure you know Dave started his working life as an aprentice at Downton before setting up on his own.
The Jig they use for their LCB Manifolds is still the same one that Jim Penton built for Downton back in the 1960's

Yes they did repaint the car because there was a few things they was not happy with, personally I thought it was fine first time round. Then last week they decided to repaint the underneath as they was not happy with that either. Needless to say the paint work is now flawless, at least I will never have any problems with rust.

Mine are H1's like in the ebay listing, not H4's as above.
The ones above look like an excellent set!
