Well done, and thanks Mark and Pete.

(also all the other guys that I spoke too today..great bunch)
Sorry to hear about the diff, very nice defender though, I left mine at home as it doesn't have as many seats as yours. We were next to you in the grey mini

Just got back to our room at the black horse in blyton.....a few too many beers with a few of us lot from Scotland.
Fantastic day..we all really enjoyed it, great people and cars. Really hope to see this again next year and beyond.

Track was great....have spent most of the evening in the pub car park looking at our shagged cars that were on it, but it was worth it.

Well done to Mark and Pete......you guys put on a great show.

:o :o :o :o :o WOW :o :o :o :o :o

What a great action packed day, Well done Mark and Pete for putting this together 8-) 8-) .

A Fantastic day was had by EVERYONE that I spoke to.
I didn't hear ANYONE bitch or moan about anything.
All I heard was "Can't wait till the next one".

The simplest of plans usually turn out the best, and this "little Track Day" really was awesome.

And I even won a trophy  That's never happened :D so that was a bit of a shock.

The only problem is others will hear about what a great time was had by all, and you know that means more are likely to come :( :(

:D :D :D :D :D So best book it up for two days next time around :D :D :D :D :D .

Please ;) ;) :D

Had an epic day, thank you Pete & Mark. Loved the track, the company was second to none too.
Had some great fun out on track (even if we probably had the newest Mini out there) and apart from the rear exhaust hanger coming off twice it ran faultlessly all day with 3 of us driving. A big thanks to Barry Long for lending me the wire and crimps to keep the hanger on for the rest of the day.

Roll on next year

FANTASTIC Day out, many thanks again Mark and Pete, not much else i can say that anyone else hasn't said, thanks for letting me join in the track fun with my Mk3 !, we bought and built the car for the event, last job was to be the engine, but it didn't get done ,so with only 45 bhp at the front wheels with my standard 1275 engine we had some great track action, what I lost up the straights I think I made up for through the corners !, i'd forgotten how well a mini handles just by fitting a set of adj shockers, hi los, comp bump stops with a bit of neggy camber, and then spending a bit of time setting it up, well worth it, Its been a while !, other than a locking rear brake, which was a bit hairy at times the car ran well. What a cracking little track ! , ill be back next year with a proper unit ! ;)

ive posted some pics on my flickr site, just follow the links and see !

A massive thanks to Mark, Pete and their army of soldiers. Blyton has to be the best Mini event I've been to in a long long while!! It reminded me of a cross between the Curborough event me and Mark went to many years ago and the best bits from Stanford Hall, amazing cars and friendly people. The perfect Sunday afternoon.

I think I'll still be grinning like a spanner into next year after the passenger outing in Rich's GTM and the CCC Cox, made my year!!!!

Where do I sign for next year!?

What a great weekend! Have to say thanks to Pete/Mark for organising it all and your team of helpers!! Was such a great event, and made a good change from the normal parking in the field, was great to see some lovely cars going round the track in the way they should be. Couldn't have asked for a better mini weekend surrounded with great friends! We had abit of troubles with my car ( KEH ) but thanks to proff and Ian and my brother they got her running so I could get some track time in. Luckily for me there was the parts we needed on one of the stalls, so was great for them guys to be there, we did have a boot stall and managed to sell some bits an bobs. Was surprised by how little fuel I personally used, thought it was going to be more.

I can't wait till next year, an hope I manage to get a space, if I still have a car to do it in.

Have to say thanks to Rich for taking me out in his GTM Coupe an managing to scare the sh*te out of me!!

Was great to finally meet some of the people on here, an put faces to name, sorry if I didn't meet anyone I should have. Was all over the place trying to get mine to start.

Thanks again everyone for a great weekend!!

I can only echo the words of congratulations already given to Mark and Co. for organising such an event. Travelled down from Glasgow with 3 others in the everyday car, as the mk1 is currently getting an engine re-build. A brilliant day however was had none the less, great to see so many early cars being enjoyed, and a great venue to boot. I loved the smaller scale of the event too, it makes such a change to be able to turn and chat to anyone knowing you share the same interests. Hoping its going to be the same again next year, count me in, but I will be there in the mk1.

Cheers D.

Rich sorry for oining you on that last corner but we went in way to quick .....

I finally got to grips with the 8 port after we threw the crappy yoko 032,s away and changed back to Avons - the yokis turned into jelly tyres

Learnt a hell of a lot about my cars limits and mine that day and i can totally recommend that anyone has a go -

I got home last night at about 9 and just crashed out. What a great weekend and a great event. Nice and relaxed, great people and great cars. It was good to meet some old face and also put some new faces to forum names. I got up this morning to start doing some picture editing and have found that I have shot over 2000 pictures, so it maybe a while before I get them all the best ones edited and posted up, I might get some up later today.

Any way thanks have to go to

Mark...

...and Pete...

...for organising a great day.

Barry, Barry and Jeff for entertaining us on Saturday night.

John and Jan for marshalling and collecting

and congratulations to Dean for putting my old car back together and winning some silverware.

And finally thanks to Mr Harber for taking me for a spin in the racer. He's pretty smooth and the car still felt quick despite the 250lb weight penalty. Cheers to Niall for pointing and shooting my camera to get this shot.

Well done to all the organisers and staff! This was the best mini event in a long time! Back to basics and a great turnout of brilliant cars and nice people who had the time of day to have a chat. Many thanks to Steve berkenshaw with the black sprint for telling me some stories about the sprints . Nice collection of them there I'll be there next year in one of mine. Had a good drive there being followed by a landrover towing a biota and a bmw towing a gtm the red ccc car. Hope I didn't slow you down I was in my 1963 mini van. Cars of the day for me where the old works cars and the sprints and the old green super with cosmics on . The white hornet was great on track! Also the grey mini with the white round on the door went really well sounded great! The black spaceframed mini was a blast with its vauxhall power!
