...and another racing derivative here..a Viking Hornet at Brands, haven't got the details but looks mid 60's, possibly a ladies race like the Embassy Trophy ?

Another Viking with a TRT Reg. No. This one was at Brooklands in 2012.

244 TRT was the subject of an article in Mini World a year or so back. Its owner previously had a couple of Heinz Hornets. It had reportedly lost its Viking head, but still wore the rocker cover.

As is that one! Incredible to race that car, or was it only meant for the parade lap?
Not too sure about his lines anyway.

they really have struggled to fit the largest sticking plaster they could to the roof of that haven't they!!!
shame about the later handles, it should have the little round pusher on the rh door only

Was second in line to buy 244 TRT more than 15 years ago, it went to a good home though. It was tested in Autocar or Motor in approx 1964 and I had a cutting of the test so knew exactly what the car was.
