everytime :) , i went to the effort of making a proper filter arrangement on the amals on the 8 port.
When you see how much crap comes out of an filter when you clean it...why have that going into your engine.
I'd go for a ramair or similiar foam type, I've read somewhere that the metal backplate on the K+N types can cause pulsing issues, whether that actually makes any difference or not I cant say?
Dont use sock type filters for each barrel, they cost 5bhp.
