Brands Hatch was a fantastic event.
It was narly incredible to see so many historic Minis on the track.
First price for the best service car goes to guru.
I am proud having the chance to see it, very nice work.
I will be there again next year.

You're quite safe, Taken by my fair hand.

Was a good day, I really enjoyed the mini 7s. Prize for the longest pit stop goes to Hawcroft and Hawcroft, but good work for getting it back out again.

it dropped onto three cylinders after five laps, so i came in, it had blown the rocker cover gasket out and spewed oil all over, and the centre of the (brand new lucas...) dizzy cap had burnt away.

we stole ed's spare and nipped the gasket back in and my brother went back out to see if the plug would clear, after a couple of laps he came back in and we swopped the plugs with no joy - i told him to go back out and enjoy himself - if the oil went down, or the water went up he was to stop.

the car did finish, or more technically, was still going around when the flag went, but it was too many laps down to count.

with a bit of inspection it had broke a valve spring and shook a tappet adjuster loose (on the exhaust, so that explains why the crankcase pressure was so bad!)

its a shame, as it was going well, those cr65 tyres are absolutley fantastic.

What a change to Saturdays wind. I have now got a nice red burnt face from sitting in the paddock grandstand most of the day. But got loads of video footage. I recorded bits of most races and the whole lot from pit exit to the flag dropping of the first French battle race on saturday. 25 minutes long.

Great seeing minis and binis out racing on the same track. Was a good sight seeing the minis out brake the binis in to paddock and when they came up behind spark in his black mini seven to lap him they must of got a shock as he had the rear end out every time he went round that corner.

It's a new camera and it's my first time filming so I still getting the hang of it. Got to download it to the computer and edit it then I have to post it up.

Email from the organisers asking to fill out an online questionnaire about the show.
They do plan holding the event again next year, provisional dates are 22nd 23rd June 2013.

I'm sure they are very happy to hear everyones feedback here:

That was very thrilling for sure.... all happen just in front of me (in Surf blue Mini) and I'm still amazed that we all got thru Paddock Hill in one piece!
