A good mate of mine who happens to work at one of the previously mentioned companies has on more than one occasion commented on what a good customer he was.

I'm with you though OPete, why buy from him when he just re sells other people gear at over inflated prices.

I'd go through with your paypal claim Alex & buy whatever it was from someone else. If you aren't sure where to go contact me direct I'd be happy to help.

I've only bought him 4x rivets for my rocker cover, as I can't find this kind of rivets in France ! 3,50£...

Finally got an answer from him today, a couple of hours after this post on the forum...

He seems he was on holiday..

I have just had a very friendly chat with the guy I initated the thread over and he said he'd either supply the correct goods or give me a refund.
No reason to doubt him so far, so here goes
Wish me luck!

From Arnold at Swiftune:

"Genuine Cooper S 32oz points (one or two piece) have a brown coloured cam contact heel. If it ain't brown, it probably ain't Cooper S. The spring should also be 24 thou thick, + or - 1 thou."

Anybody already got some issues with SpeedyCables ? I've sent them a chronometric smiths to overhaul 7 (yes SEVEN) months ago, and they didn't answer to my emails since 2 months... :?
