Hi all,

More info :ugeek:

Found 2 more pictures (old) with a MK I (D reg) and it has a flat dish wheel, with the Moto Lita at 3 o,clock.

Have then gone through the different pictures.

Looks like a dished Moto Lita,s have the script, on the lower spoke = 6 o,clock,

and the flat dished, have it at 3 o,clock.

Does this ad up, with the info/pictures you guys have ?

I've got 4 dished mota lita wheels 2 John Cooper 1 black and 1 plain all marked at 3 o'clock
Was led to believe the position of moto lita was age related

Thanks, so apparently the position signature, wasnt done in any "logical" system.

I guess this has to do, with these wheels being handmade.

Nice for the collectors 8-) SOO much more to search for.

...Soz rat,i took my car to Moto-Lita,s Factory some years back and they changed a few parts and screws for me,that was 2003 I think ?!.... they offered a refurb on the steering wheel for me but it was in fair condition for its age so I didn't bother... I gather this flat dish (the nicest type) was manufactured in about 1969 ??!!...I keep the leather clean with saddle soap..its the best type of product to use ...Pity you are so far away ??!!..as someone else pointed out their service is so good.. just pre book yr car and they are very happy to see you....foxy52 (with the tanned legs)

Hi D,

The early Margrave brochure I have, is a D reg MK I, and it has a flatdish Moto Lita.

I asume a D reg is 1967 ?
