Mike,
I agree with all that and just glad that we think alike. Mine is not a bottomless pit so cant afford the damage on a regular basis. i came from super mighty minis where the bodywork costs just got out of hand.

My history was the Mini Se7en club 1991-1999, over which time it got tedious, expensive and parc ferme after a race resembled Wimbledon Raceway on a Tuesday night, what with the threats of physical attack and abuse from drivers, team helpers, wives, children, etc....
I packed it in after getting punted off by some wannabe touring car driver in a one-off entry at Snetterton in 1999 - 'cost me £721 for the pleasure of not even making the 2nd corner.

My helper at the weekend said the Masters' atmosphere was just like the Mini Se7en Club in the 70s and 80s when it was all good natured. I hope it stays this way. :D

This is an edited clip at the point I decided it got too physical for my wallet. I passed both cars with two wheels on the grass so I didn't have to lean on anyone but after I was passed later on decided I wanted to get to the finish in one piece!

Will post more later.

Lap 7 or 8 I think ? Yes I remember it very well - thats that just proves three into one doesn't go, I was just over 2 seconds behind all this shananagins at the time and lifted off as too did Andy I believe as we fully expected something to happen !!!

Fortunately for all involved it didn't :)

Pair of clackers more like ! Like Mike says it's great when you can afford to keep fixing them, but surely few can afford to willingly nerf each other like that. It does happen in the HSCC I might add as Ebdon and Wills illustrated quite nicely in that Donny footage from a couple of years ago and there were a few incidents like that at the Revival.

That is one seriously sorted Mini, and a good driver too!

It surprises me that so many of the racers do not at all know how to hit an Apex ;) I'm talking about the Capri, Ferrari and Pantera boys.

Both red cars passed me in the end, we suffered a loose wheel bearing and serious pad knock off.

Fantastic video :)

I think you should fasten your steering column better though ;)

I had a wheel bearing issue, wheel hanging off at finish, so plenty of vibration and pad knock off so pumping brakes resulting in late arrival at apexes!

I have just received the prototypes of our hub nut retaining plates that replace the split pins so will be offering for sale soon.

Tony's son, we call him Luke Filmaker, has just set this set of photographs to music, which seems to work quite well...
