Just spent a pleasant hour taking off the old mirrors and fitting the right ones on the wings. Bill B very kindly sent me a lead on where to get a set of them in the matt black finish, but sadly they had none left, but a pall down south messaged me to say 'it's not these ones you want, is it?', with a photo of exactly the right ones! Bonus is they were free
So, very careful measuring (as opposed to the BMC dealer 'as long as it's on') and I think it looks much better for the change.
Drivers side top hinge has loosened again, so not technically smy nearer to finished of course. Does everyone get the fear doing hunger bolts? I always feel they are half a twist from shearing....
And this morning I went over to the lock up and helped my pal extract the yellow one, and it is now in it's new home, being stripped for work as I type
