Sadly due to my current financial situation and stage of my life, i just cannot afford a big project like this, it would take me probably 5-10 years to finish it and that makes me sad thinking it wont see the day of light for a long time.

I have since thought of selling it and then heard a friend was potentially selling his 63 Countryman. We had a chat and a deal was concluded. He will be taking over the Project S and i be taking over his Countryman. It's a 63 model, original exterior, with a great story. The interior was sadly not in useable condition, but has been kept and put one side. The carpets have since been replaced with Newton commercial set, the seats have been recovered and new door cards have been put in. He has the original motor for it, which is a 850 motor, but currently has a 1071 motor, unfortunately that wont come with, but the plan is to use my spare 1275 S motor i have for this project, think that would be a nice runner.

Here are some pics of the exterior.

A shame to have to let your "S" go but the Countryman looks a much more manageable project for now. I'm a big fan of the Mini estate cars. SO useful and quite rare now 8-)
