I understand this is the MK1 forum but After 8 years since my post.
Any original MK2 engine bay photos out there?

I don’t have any mk2 photos but you might be interested in the mk2 cooper s that sold last year on Bring a Trailer. It had some period upgrades discussed on this forum and in the comments, but overall seemed to be a pretty clean car possibly with only 10,000 miles on it since new.
