Brilliant who'd ever know?
I sikoflexed my bonnet safety catch back on when the spot welds broke as I didn't want to have to paint the front of it if I'd welded it. Solid as a rock now.

I used something called powerbond from wuerth. Its a car body adhesive. 2 component epoxy stuff.
