The E-type club members are a really enthusiastic and friendly group. With Philip & Julie Porter managing the event I am sure it will be a never to be forgotten experience. 60 years of E-Type and Mini Cooper celebrations in the Midlands; what is there not to be liked? Camping on site is limited so book early. See you there.

The Sunday is also the Mini day at Beaulieu, so that may be having an impact on the weekend, to many good events to go to this year !

I’ll probably take 110 NNM up the hill for a giggle. Don’t think it’s ever done a hillclimb.

All Minis attending will be parked at the centre of the event according to the blurb I’ve read today.

Paddy and Fitz attending so far with more guests to be announced.

I think the Hillclimb runs are full now at this event but worth a call if you fancy it. Could be the first event I get to with spectators!

It looks like there’ll be a rare reunion of Cooper Car Company racing drivers over the weekend, specifically Saturday with Paddy Hopkirk, John Fitzpatrick, Warwick Banks and very possibly John Rhodes might be tempted out now! Quite a few very interesting Mini Coopers are also now coming to this!

Absolutely terrific day with a great turnout of Minis.
The organisation was 1960's so everything was perfect.
Yes the minis did beat some of the E-types and spirited runs by all those taking part representing the 'lesser' marque certainly entertained the crowds.
Graham 'Speedy' Gonzales eventually sorted his rear suspension 'adjustments' and finally took the trophy with an amazing time.
All in all an exceedingly good day was had by all.
Roll on XK 75 should be a blast.

Was great to see CKL share the photos of the EGAL E type now it's back in the UK. What a shame Whizzo isn't here to drive it again.
