Agree. Too clean for anything later!

Never been able to reconcile distance of stage as listed with possible route. Presumably down the tarmac to Tyneham village and back up the gravel track to the ridge.

You would expect such a detailed article to mention that it was at least two different cars but no, the sequential rally history is listed as if it was one car throughout....
(particularly since a photo exists of this "car" as a partly completed new build someway through its works life)

That’s such a common scenario and years ago I used to do it myself until I learned that one number plate could easily have been stuck to several different rally or race cars.

Which reminds me that with the DJB93B thread locked for post-works matters we have nowhere to continue with evidence as to whether the Gulf66 car was the Scottish66 car.
