Car has been left up to get work done to get it back on the road. Guy was pleased with how solid it was generally. He's going to do the welding and all the mechanical work.
It's not going to be a nut and bolt restoration but a case of cut out the rot and replace with good metal, sort out the mechanicals. It will need resprayed and he can do that too so he's going to work out a price. I know a guy who lives closer to me who is a professional sprayer so I'll get a quote of him as well.
I just want a usable mini that I can take to shows as my 5 year old son is starting to show a real interest in the mini. He told me to just put 4 new tyres on it and we'll go for a drive
