Agreed, and you end up with a brand new dead straight body, probably better than they rolled off the line.

This is an interesting picture.
I bought this a few years ago thinking I’d knock off the arches and make it look nice!
The arches were a work of art and the front panel is one peace, lovely fabrication job. Shame it look so horrible..
The funny part was I turned up in a transit and it wouldn’t fit in so I gave it a tap with a slage hammer, the sellers face was a picture! It’s so strong the arches didn’t move..
I sold it to give someone else pleasure!

Well an interesting Sunday evening.
I popped to the nec restoration show brake down for a RV with Leo (moke panels) and my new toy..
With a bit of help from JR and my son Aaron she was bagged up and loaded.
This is where Mrs wife becomes a mini widow for a week or two!

Last time I drove the ring (badly) was 1996 in my 1380 mini van..
Looks like the the Mille miglia is mid May and Modena cento ore is early June, I’d love to go but really it’s unrealistic family/ work commitments etc!
Quick update on progress
Most of the moke has been trial fitted and will be at the paint shop early next week.
Subframes etc are being blasted early next week and then going to the paint shop.
