A new plan crossed my mind to do next year,
I have the original 1000cc engine and are planning to
put it back in it with twin carbs. and a Cooper 1000 mk2
head (Innocent 90L) on it. So not the HP from MG Metro
but the HP's from an good old Cooperised 1000cc engine !

Personally I'd stick with a 1300 engine for practical day to day reliable power, tuned 1000's can be a little disappointing & temperamental. But the choice, as they say, is yours.

DR would never have fitted a tuned 1000 when he had a 1300 available

Mark you are right about the power, maybe I only will do the twin carb. conversion on it.

Discoverd the otherday it has a 1000cc LCB on it so up to Manyflow for the right one.
Question: does it matter about the horspower puting an centre pipe or an exhaust pipe
on the original left hand side ? Will buy that one from Manyflow as well !

A 1000cc manifold will be fine for a standard (ish) 1300. No difference in power between straight through & "normal" exhausts.

Did collect the original dark bleu interieur from my Mk3 Mini.
This was part of the sale when I bought it, with this came also
the front carpet, original engine and some other small things.
One part is missing as you can see on the pictures, can some
one help me with that ? Did ask already some people and are
hoping they can find the missing item.

Have you changed the rear springs? It's looking a bit high at the rear.

No I did not changed the rear springs, and yes It's looking a bit high
at the rear but is must be the hard braking for an animal I think


Yes a lot of enjoyment people are waving to me as well

Now it has the original interrieur in it and a '70th 15" Formula wooden
steeringwheel. Also a spare Rosepetal wheel is on its way, have to find
the right revcounter for the steering collom now. Making an hole for the
right hand tank and fiks the broken spanner from the timing chain.

Also on the lookout for some buck seat for some comfort.
