There is a chance I suppose the car is not 100% acurate
I am loving the last sentence !
There's 100% chance that's not GRX 309D !
One thing I do like about the ex works Mini scene is it's not short on laughs.

Anyone see the comment in the MCR mag about 407ARX being for sale after its recent Top Gear 'restoration'? Recreation more like, even the vendor will tell you that it's a plate nailed to a shell and a load of parts collected over many years. £100k anyone?

There's a bit of a who-ha about that car on the Pistonheads forum.

This is getting silly, but at least the bag is included.
I used to collect stuff like this, but now I only buy the parts as the packaging is usually too expensive

Check out the works dash, starting price £1.3k
now if he had a halda twinmaster on there then it would be realistic start price.

No doubt some fool will buy it.
Be very careful with that seller, I had a very near miss last year until I ranted at ebay customer services several times and they refunded my money.

I'm sure someone re-manufactures those Lodge plugs and leads

I dunno, but the old 66 Cooper I bought (bastard) has a set of those leads (new).
£1500 with a fully restored shell.
Gradually putting it back together. Still after a 3.7 salisbury CWP.

They are good plug caps, all be it unsuppressed. However if you are an ultimate rivet spotter the repros don't have the LODGE branding on them.
