Here's the 7000 rpm smiths one I have, I don't really need it so if someone wants to make use of it I can put it in the for sale section, it's untested.

Its ridiculously simple to swap polarity on the car if needs be.

Thanks Mark,. Yes swapping the car isn't difficult, but I'd rather keep it the more commonly understood -ve Earth than change it just suit a tacho.

Just need to find a sensibly priced 80mm one that doesn't bounce around like its on acid.
Don't want to spend much as I only use it for noise test in scrote-ineering

Yes 80mm, I picked it up ages ago as I'd not seen one like it before
