well it really surprised me ,it seems more than twice as fast as a standard 850 to me. its only done 40000 from new ,apart from the charger and a cooper s dissy the engine is totally standard. only problem is its too fast for its brakes now. Ive changed all the linnings, wheel cylinders, flexibles, but they still feel poor.only thing left is the master ?.didn't really want to change to S brakes

Nick,
If you are using an S dizzy, you are probably running too much advance. Shorrock used to recommend fitting 5/16" restrictors over the pins in the dizzy.

I thought it would be too advanced ,but it doesn't seem to pink and starts easy?. forgot to say its also got three branch manifold and cooper s clutch. I will swap the dissy back and see what happens

Mintex competition shoes work wonders on the front - only time I have had fade is coming down Hardknott pass competitively. Got the last set from Mini sport, not too expensive either

In Class C19 (road going saloons up to 72)
Helmet, overalls, standard seat, seatbelt, etc. Pretty much standard road trim.

This class is sponsored by MK1 Performance Conversions this year!

Seat needs to be bolted down, and battery, firewall in place front and back and extra throttle return spring. That's pretty much it for road going. I want to do this aswell, in something or other. Ever seen a Radford hillclimb?
