They state that they have a worldwide patent but I guess the beefed up design is not the same design!

There may be several firms either making or marketing this type of clamp.

I suppose this is usually the case, I had just never seen this style of clamp before and assumed it was something new - which it clearly isn't.

If you scroll down a bit, there are several clamps of the "Nice" variety, including some DOUBLE ones!

Now that is what you call heavy duty!
