Could the wheels be Dunlops that have had some machining done.
I have seen it done to cosmics and they look good.

On the higher res pics (if you have any bigger) does it look to have a ribbed roof or smooth? Should be the later ribbed one to tie in with Cooper's conversions. 1967 would also tie in well with Eastwood making it big (having done the spaghetti trilogy by then), and filming in Europe. Has a W&P look about it doesn't it?

According to the MiniMania forum posts (see my previous link) they are Pos-A-Traction alloy wheels made in the USA originally for the Honda Z600's-which have a different bolt circle. They then made them to fit other cars to include the Mini. Good article here showing wheel photos and comparing the Z car to the Cooper S at the time:-

Unfortunately, I do not know anything more than just that, Pete.
As a matter of fact I thought it was Lee Brown who'd converted the car, but a friend is positive it was Barris' work.
Some years ago I found a fantastic 1970s book on Barris' cars and have been all through it, hoping to find a mention of this Mini, but it only describes Eastwood's Ferrari 275 - also green and also converted by the King of Kustom…

Is it not possible that the car is one of the Cooper Travellers that George Barris later customised. It does look like it has a smooth roof but it is probable that Barris would have smoothed this out when he did the rest of the modifications.

Owns or owned? Not quite sure on the acuracy of that particular "#fact". I think he's running The Gauntlet with that one.

I've just obtained a copy of Barris Cars of the Stars (Published 2008) and it makes a small mention of a Mini Cooper that was done in blue and white for Clint Eastwood. It mentions that Barris fitted power windows at the time. Unfortunately there are no pictures.
