Luis, their was a Renault 5 one-make championship running in the UK around the same time as the 1275GT Challenge. I remember they used to lean through the corners almost as much as the 2CV's! I seem to remember they once ran together with the Mini's in a combined race due to low entries for the grid but off course the Renault 5 lap times were considerably slower than the Mini's.
The 1275GT Challenge cars were allowed to use either twin SU's or a 45 Weber and inclined valve cylinder heads. I have a copy of the official 1275GT race build regs somewhere.
