A lot of work went into that Mini didn't it. Note the Australian (possibly S.African) doors? So possibly the whole conversion not UK?

In fact, it LOOKS like the former SA president, Pik Botha driving it!

One of the big attraction's at this year's Caravan and Outdoor Leisure Show is a hand-built Mercedes mobile home that carries a mini van in its boot. The mobile home is the creation of Newcastle body builder Wilton O'Neill.

He later moved to Blayney and then to Newcastle – and by then, the work had shifted to automobiles. Definately not Salzburg - rather somewhere in Switzerland or Italy (at least the Mini) as they used to have tiny front registration plates.
In Austria we had normal sized black plates with white numbers.

It is Vipiteno Bolzano, South-Tyrol / Italy

I checked, the Mini is not standing there any more.

I took this picture in the beging of the 80th.
The owner had also an 1973 Innocenti Cooper 1300.

I knew the owner back than, he was together with his wife a big Mini nut. But as always lost contact so I know nothing more about the Bat MoMini.
