A drive through central London in 1972.... a few Minis here and there, a Jansen Interceptor of FF about half way through and it's interesting see a mix of the old black & silver / new reflective yellow and white number plates....
OK then, who has Blue Austin Mini FLJ784D tucked away in the garage? Still on the system but tax last due on 29 February 1988 so is more likely to be in drawer somewhere rather than a garage... Location is Westover Road, Bournemouth - home to err.. Westover Motors, BMC dealer.

Yes genuine. The number ended up on a Bentley belonging to the Smart (Circus) family in the end, and was sold not that long ago alongside BS 1.
I recall 'Fiona' parking the E Type at her parent's house when I was staying there with her nephew. A Vicarage in case you didn't know? I think I have put pics and the story on here already somewhere?
So if we are talking educational ladies took a lock down walk yesterday to visit the grave of Mary Millington, if your a certain age you would know of her.
8662 FN Austin Mini

My wife says I don’t listen to her or something like that !
A mini competing in a sprint at Shenington Airfield near Banbury. It was taken in either '66 or '67 based on the slides around it in my late father collection.
