It's not just the rear screen that is Mk 2! This is how it looked in the 1980's.
:o Who'd have thought THAT would end up with a £30,000 price tag! The original shell must have been REALLY rough if that one was considered a big improvement!

Yet another Radford here, sold in a jiffy :

Not the nicest lamp conversion admittedly but an interesting car, I do seem to remember being told many years ago that this car had been Radfordised in the late 80's/early 90's though the ad description suggests original paperwork? Anyone? ( Nev ! )

I've checked my suspicions with that car and I'm correct in saying that it was built specifically as a 'replica' in the early 90's using some 70's W&P parts screwed to a 1967 Mini Auto (not Radford parts). If someone has shelled out £20K on that car, which it appears they have, with the idea that it's an actual Radford (or W&P!) as described they're gonna be in for a bit of a disapointment.

It wasn't me Pete  . I didn't know the history of this car, but with a full 60's W&P interior and Radford badges it never really sat right with me. I know the seller had a lot of paperwork from W&P and Radford but it could have been the 90's W&P and Radford company's ????? I don't know!

Not sure Nev, but considering it wasn't built by either company it's curious why it had any Radford or W&P paperwork at all. ;) Last time it sold it was very transparently described as a replica and the previous owner that took it to Bulee didn't try and bluff anybody that it was real either.

Agree, fugly front, but dont take to the Merc grill either, the original WP setup was the best looking for a Mini.
