Looks great Rich. The tail lamps are bang on, in contrast to the square stuff people normally fit.

Lookin good - actually works really well with the tail lights - are you gonna keep the square front sidelights or change them.

pad, they are staying, I altered all the front so it had little plinths to suit them, they are angled just right so the indictors can be seen from the side and front.

they need to be square on the front to match the grill intake and the rectangle shape of the front spoiler.

loads of gtms look unfinished here, as people often just bolt clubman lights onto the original spoiler shape (like mine had when it was first built, or just use normal mini ones.

the big advantage of these triumph style units are that they cost about £8 each brand new!

the other week I noticed a customer looking intently at them, he then turned up in a clubman with a pair fitted! 8-)

i really like this rich. actually looks quite a well finished car and you can see the time and quality. you see some other car variants (not gonna say the k word!) that look nice from a distance then you notice the bad lines and rushed finish when close up.

top job pal.

well, I can make the big announcement, that yesterday, the gtm finally slipped its mountings and made its first, half decent trip round the estate under its own power.

it then broke down

gah!

oh, and out of badness (and this will probably upset some people on here), its going to the local BMW Mini dealers for its mot!

its a great scheme, they do trade price mot's and a free valet 8-)

Good news, bad news, then good news Rich.

Slight technical hitch with the break down, something small I hope.

A free valet huh. I'd like to see the MOTers face when you turn up for the test. ;)

Now where's my local BMW dealer for that free valet.?

The car's looking great now. Your patience has payed off.

When you go for your mot make sure you spinkle dirt, old crisp bags and some old bear cans under the seats just to make it more normal.

The first run must of only been a couple of days after I was in the shop.
If it breaks down between your work and the mot check, at least you can push it the rest of the way
