Thank you, but if I can do it I believe most can. I started this having never restored a car before. With a lot of time and patience yours will be equally as rust free

that looks great
it always seams so easy once the whole shell is painted and all you have to do is bolt shiney bits back onto a shiney car!

Thanks everyone. I'm glad the bodywork is pretty much finished, was starting to get a bit tedious! As you say the enjoyable bit shouldn't be far away now

Very nice, paint is the one thing that finally shows all the effort you have put in before

Nothing major, wasn't going to update until it was painted. I have given it two coats of high build which has been flatted with a guide coat. Now sorting any imperfections and then will give it another two coats and flat back again, then i will see where we are at. Hopefully i wont of missed anything and it will be ready for colour.

Getting there then now, problem with this stage is it seems to take ages to do properly and pictures don't really show anything until top coat applied,
I am a little way behind you but have found the mirka dry guide coat good, it's like a black powder but really shows up the imperfections

Yeah your right there, feels like I'm not getting anywhere with it. The flatting seems endless! I will look out for some of that, I have just been using matt black aerosol so far

Looks superb, did you use solid 2k or clear over base as I am still undecided what to paint mine with
