Not Dutch, but Portugese. We had similar style plates but the Portugese font is slightly different and we never had silver on black.WMU 211G wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2024 3:26 pm

The '66 Woody also has unvented oversills....Costafortune wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 7:38 pm
The '66 Woody looks as rough as a bears arse close up.
There are so many iffy, badly restored and blatantly wrong Minis about - you can see why anything proper makes the money.
The door cards are the right way up, it's the van itself which is upside down...Costafortune wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2024 12:29 pm https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/375618272774 ... R7L386e2ZA
Where do you start?
That’s pretty much a carbon copy of what was done to my 988 Cooper at some point. Rear lights hacked out for mk2 ones and the brocade interior dyed black.mab01uk wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 5:52 pm Austin mk1 mini cooper s

Just my kind of Mini that and right on my doorstep! Would love to take it on but I've run out of room. I'd clean up the brocade interior and let someone else have it, keep the car orange and do up the interior like a Radford.Oneball wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 6:46 pmThat’s pretty much a carbon copy of what was done to my 988 Cooper at some point. Triple C magazine printed a helpful article on cutting out the Mk1 rear lights to update to Mk2 which inspired me back in the day....also Halfords sold black upholstery paint which did a good job of updating the old fashioned Mk1 coloured vinyl interiors! (see my photos in link below). I still think you can't beat the look of a period modified black Mk1/2 Mini with black Shadowlite windows and really wish I had not sold it to upgrade to a Mk3 with winding windows!Oneball wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 6:46 pmThat’s pretty much a carbon copy of what was done to my 988 Cooper at some point.
