Looks OK but the blue doesn't look right to me. Just another transient owner, probably reliving his youth for a couple of years, now wants to sell at a profit. Just my thoughts

Lots of new bits is what I thought from a first glance.

Exactly. It looks like a new one, restored to a very high standard by the right people.

On the Mk1 Cooper are those cover sills ?, look a bit odd. Copious amounts of seam sealer possibly hiding ropey welds in places perhaps ?. Easy to pick at stuff, maybe perfectly ok.

That price is mad for a tidy but bodged up Mk1 Cooper. You're right Robin - badly fitted oversills and horrible lash up of the boot floor, battery box etc. and that's just the bits we CAN see. That late Mini front panel has more holes in it than a colander and most could/should have been welded up prior to painting especially if he was aiming for £25,000

That's what I thought, tidy enough but not at £25k with repairs like those in my opinion.

I agree, could be wrong blue, or combination of badly white balanced camera, and photos taken in shade don’t help.

Had a look at this one and is a lovely car, needs a couple of bits of paint rectifying to make perfect and as has been said lots of news bits. Anyone know of any similar on the market or anyone thinking of selling ? If so please let me know.

Maybe a Chinese Car company will buy the Austin-Rover company name to sell a new range of ultra cheap electric car imports because of the existing brand recognition in the UK and Europe, as has happened with the now Chinese owned and built MG range of cars.

Not sure how the below works with MG and Austin-Rover?

BRITISH MOTOR HERITAGE AND LICENSING
British Motor Heritage represents the classic marques of Austin, Morris, Austin Mini, Morris Mini, Special Tuning, Riley, Wolseley and Rover together with the iconic British sports cars of MG, Triumph and Austin-Healey.
All are available for worldwide license. The BMH licensed products and designs have been inspired by the original sales brochures and advertising material held in the BMH archive.

I saw that earlier today. I wondered if it was an error and an extra zero was added. It's SO far off the mark. Thought it was a bit rude to ask though...

Problem is, it may prompt a load of other idiots to advertise their engines at an inflated price, until they realise …..

"In need of restoration". Or, put another way, it's a V5 waiting for a suitable car.
