Have we had this one...? Genuine Neville Trickett Sprint, probably one of his last I'd imagine and no doubt familiar to some on here already, built using a Mk5 shell and a supercharged 1275...

I keep telling myself ''no more bloody Minis'' but if I had the room I'd be very tempted!

Re: WTH??!?! Have you seen this item on ebay.
There was a build thread or at least a web page about that which I read a few years ago. I am sure it has been mentioned on here before. I think it was the one done immediately after mine back in the mid 2000's Sadly, I don't have any further details.

How did they lower the bottom half in relation to the petrol tanks? Did they cut them down too?

In a word yes, but it's more simple than that when you actually do it. One of Nev's secrets.

1964 Austin, owned since 1971. Pretty grim, but a survivor.

Re: WTH??!?! Have you seen this item on ebay.
I believe the photos have been manipulated in photoshop, and the front numberplate is not as it is in real life, someone has used the photoshop clone tool, and typed in part of the reg over the top.
Examine the below, the plate is a 70s raised digit variety. Compare the characters G and 8, marked with green arrows, the 8 has the light reflected in the curved parts, but the G is flat, no reflections, as it a computer generated letter, of a similar font.
Also see the blue arrow, you can see a letter B behind the X and perhaps a Y under the A.
Rear plate looks a bit odd too, some ghosting going, could be nothing.
Perhaps something fishy going on here, or just making it look like it has two correct plates?

I didn’t think 1275 GTs were referred to as “Clubman’s” ?
It’s horrible, you just know it’s rotten as a carrot…….
