I didn’t even notice the odd plates.
Think the seller needs a few lessons on how to do a decent advert

In the oldens days we used to respond to a couple of lines in a free sheet or the exchange and mart, and then we got Autotrader who'd show us a hastily shot b&w pic. What does it matter what's in the ad, if you are realy interested you will find out more. People don't make ads for everyone to make comments on what's right and wrong with their car, even though there are quite a few who do make comments (me included) in what we see.
It's up to the seller how they advertise and sell their car. If they can not be bothered will a well written advert, with good pictures, then that's up to them. But I think they buyer is looking for someone to go and have a look and make a deal there and then, avoid the sellers fees and loads of bullshit from tyre kickers and armchair buyers.

Probably a bit too expensive to break, but I used the CR internals from one of these boxes to rebuild my 1128 box. A slight, easy mod is required ( chamfer to the case ) and has the benefit of larger diameter layshaft and bearings.......

the DVLA say the can see the original registration number PXC277J in their historic records and you can apply for a V5C when the car is restored.
Why would the seller not apply before selling, what could possibly go wrong

What that suggests is that the dvla are not going to issue a logbook until it’s fully restored and V765 inspected etc etc . … Ken

Does anyone recognize the wing mirrors on the black deseamed '71 1275GT ??
I seem to have the same ones but can't figure out their origin. They also have the same look as the black wing mirrors on the 4-door World Cup Rally car.
Thanks for your help!

Interesting 1967 Mk3 Sprite on eBay at the moment.
Would definitely bid on it if I had the space and not too many projects that aren’t finished!
Not sure how to post the link.
Cheers
