One of the later Formula wheels, would originally have had the leather trim sections at the bottom of each spoke

If the seller really does try to transfer the logbook from an old van onto his restored pickup, it will only end one way. He'll lose the identity of the van & be left with an unregisterable pickup.

If he tries to do what he says he is thinking of doing it will end in absolute DISASTER!

Clearly it won't be just the engine if his V5C plan comes to fruition.... :D

Pleased it's not just me. I've got a thick-flanged rebuilt engine and 'box looking for a home (shell) but thought this was £8K overpriced. I've asked the owner a few questions, like what happened to the bulkhead hydro bracket?

Not sure if this has been discussed……but although perhaps slightly expensive, there’s a lot to like about this IMO ..??

It has been. It's the car with the parking light stuck on the roof :? And the wrong/later front panel isn't it. It's been much advertised. I have a strong dislike of cars advertised with their registration numbers masked. What do sellers think they gain from that?
I agree though - a rare car nowadays. It still has the stainless side trims too I think.

I think that parking light is the wrong way round… should be red to the rear?

Especially strange considering the registration number is visibly etched into the glass on the photos. Looks like 451KTV, or something like that anyway (Nottingham was TV)

Update: after a few runs through https://www.partialnumberplate.co.uk it matches 351RTV

One is a fixed price listing, the other is an auction with no bids.

A bit stupid really as you can put a buy it now price, and reserve on an auction listing. Obviously trying to avoid some fees.

External only paint job, engine left in and lots of new under-seal underneath, not what you might expect for the price..

If it was that good you would whip out the engine and have the engine bay and bottom of the car painted, wouldn't you ?

Tempting project. It still has the correct seats, covering on the dash top rail - even the correct ashtray. The piano-hinge rear windows look present but the seller states that the exterior trim is missing. Hard to find all that :( The crossply tyres still fitted suggest a car which has had little use perhaps?
I wonder if it's a car Garry is aware of?
It is hard to tell what's under all that paint but it doesn't look to be the rustiest ever seen. Obviously had some work done before, as the front panel is a late one. Maybe this was part of the accident damage referred to?
