I have been away over the weekend, so have only just booked in.
Glad to see that the confirmed list is now upto 16 entrants, looks like anyone wanting to book a track place will be better off doing it sooner rather than later, I find it hard to believe that these places will be around for that long.

But remember, even if you don't want track time, there will be loads to do on the day for everyone, lost to see & a great evening to be had by all.

You'd make more money Rich if you charge £1 a go to jump up and down on the roof of your Status !

The entrant page is slightly out of date so actually we're officially half full now after only 4 days, so I'd echo Mark's comments and book sooner than later.

Booked. It's a mere supercharged 850, so I'll do my best to keep out of the way of 130bhp monsters.

More news :

We will be collecting for a charity on the gate as opposed to charging an entry fee. All proceeds will go to the forces motorsport charity 'Mission Motorsport' http://www.missionmotorsport.org/

(Quite fitting as Blyton used to be an ex RAF airfield)

It's the first time I have been on the site for over a month and it's great to find a new event like this is happening. Thanks to Pete and Mark for getting the ball rolling, or should that be wheels.

I'll bring along my cameras and take a few snaps. I might even put a video together so our overseas members can get to see all the goings on.

I've had a reply from the Mission Motorsport charity and they're very excited about this. Anyone up for giving some of their servicemen a lift around the track ? They may even bring their own Mini if they can get hold of one ! :)

I am very proud that Mission Motorsport are happy for us to take a charitable collection for them over the MK1 Action day.

No matter what you think of our governments ill advised sorties into the middle east it is our duty to look after those young servicemen who come back having given their all to serve our nation.

Pete & I are taking absolutely nothing at all out of the track day & all monies raised will go directly to Mission Motorsport.

I could plan a nice drive over the North York Moors and a coastal drive for the Saturday. I'll see if the North East and Yorkshire chaps are up for it.

Shall I ask the Scamp owners club to join us, too? They're a happy bunch, never afraid of some mud!

Important message : Anyone who has booked that doesn't see their name on the entry list after 24 hrs please contact Javelin and ask why, there are at least two or three people missing off that list for some reason.

Booking up fast now, don't be caught napping if you plan to book track time.
